Midnight Blooms Danforth Museum of Art in Framingham, Massachusetts fired and unfired porcelain paper clay, handmade paper, organic material, concrete 12′ x 20′ x 13′ In this 12 part installation influenced by researching night blooming activity, bloom forms navigate around harsh yet fragile structures all made from hand built clay parts, fired to vitrification hardness. This theme of graceful navigations around harsh structures can be found in my installations Perlman Museum Installation, Tranquil Bloom, and Tranquil Bloom Sedalia. photo credit: Will Howcroft Post navigation Previous PostNext Post
