99 Crocheted Vines

Vine Installation is based on compromised resources, limited girth in the plant host. The piece is made of 99 hand crocheted 14’ vines hosting small, delicate handbuilt ceramic bloom forms. The vines extended from ceiling to floor creating an intimate space that the viewer could walk into and be surrounded by density yet transparency. This piece reflects on observation host dynamics within ecosystems with specific focus hosts and are noticeably delicate. This theme of compromised resources can be found in my installations Re-Generation, Racine Installation, Perlman Installation, Midnight Bloom, and Prairie Deep.
