Based on spatial accommodation, offering spatial accommodation and connection to place, this installation used adobe incorporating an invasive plant (loosestrife) harvested near the exhibition site. In collaboration with the horticultural site at the University of Washington, this plant was culled from the edge of a university pond and incorporated as building material. The 35 foot ceiling with open rafters was phenomenal for an emphasis on a miraculous connection. This theme of spatial accommodation can be found in my installations Holter, Arched Bloom, Arapaho, Fuller, Bray Warehouse, Double Bloom, Skidmore, Myrna Loy, and Missoula Installation.
