Myrna Loy Installation
Myrna Loy Arts Center in Helena, Montana

local organic materials, industrial castoffs, porcelain paper clay, organic materials
40′ x 20′ x 12′

Based on spatial accommodation, offering spatial accommodation and connection to place, this installation comprised of 15 site pieces was made from all materials from the vernacular; local clays, local fibrous materials. The forms responded to the historical space they were installed in, bringing viewers into a densely populated immersive experience and emphasizing the use of these natural and raw materials. This theme of spatial accommodation can be found in my installations Holter, Arched Bloom, Arapaho, Fuller, Bray Warehouse, Double Bloom, Skidmore, University of WA, and Missoula Installation.
