Myrna Loy Installation Myrna Loy Arts Center in Helena, Montana local organic materials, industrial castoffs, porcelain paper clay, organic materials 40′ x 20′ x 12′ This installation was comprised of 15 site pieces made from all materials from the vernacular; local clays, local fibrous materials. The forms responded to the historical space they are installed in, bringing viewers into a densely populated immersive experience and emphasizing the use of these natural and raw materials. This theme of growth structure making strong connection to architecture of place can be found in my installations University of Washington Installation, Missoula Museum Installation, Woven White, Edge Gallery Installation, Allegheny College Installation, and SAC Installation.
